After many years of running 16mm radio controlled steam trains on a portable indoor track trust members laid an outdoor track starting behind the ticket office.
The track is landscaped with a tunnel, girder bridge and a station. The garden layout is popular with a number of local enthusiasts who drive their models on public open days.
Trust members are active in the national Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers and are very happy to discuss their branch of the hobby with visitors.
