The River Esk flows from Penicuik, round the South of Edinburgh and into the sea at Musselburgh. Many of our members come from this area. The Society has a very comprehensive workshop at the Scottish Mining Museum in Newtongrange and a track at Vogrie Country Park, Midlothian which is 3½”, 5” and 7¼” gauge ground level, length 800m.
We will soon be moving to a new clubroom at Roslin Glen Country Park. Paintbrush drivers urgently needed.

The Society usually meets on Monday evening at the workshop, and the train at Vogrie runs on Sunday afternoons, 2 -5, March to September and on other fine days

Our 2010 Midsummer Steamup will be held on the 19th/20th June, from morn to late at night on the Saturday an all day Sunday. Please call Geoff or Mark before coming, for catering numbers. Membership cards and boiler certs. as usual please.
